To undergo on the job training, gain knowledge and experience required for appointments to management positions in the Insurance field. The period of training will be two (2) years duration. You should have a long term commitment to pursue a career in Insurance.
– You will receive training in several departments such as Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial and Reinsurance.
– You will learn line and staff functions, operations, management policies and company procedures and practices.
– You will under-study experienced co-employees to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for carrying out departmental duties
– You will receive training in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunities
– You should possess an accounting Qualification such as CIMA, Chartered or CMA and preferably a degree with mathematics, statistics or a similar field.
– Good command of English: both written and verbal.
– Strong analytically and presentation skills
– Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the company
– The position requires proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
